1. About the Game

Four Words is a word puzzle. Every level is one board of 24 words that belong to six hidden groups of four. Nothing falls and nothing is added; the whole puzzle is in front of you from the start.

2. How to Play

1. Tap four words that you think belong to the same group
2. Right: the four lock into a row and the group is yours
3. Wrong: the four shake and you lose an attempt
4. Solve all six groups before your attempts run out to win the level

I'm stuck. Is there a hint?

Yes. Tap the lightbulb button. A hint does not solve the group for you; it makes two words of one unsolved group glow, and the move is still yours. The badge on it shows how many hints you have left; hints carry over between levels, and you get free ones back over time. If you run out, you can watch a short video for one more or trade in coins for it.

Does the game have in-app purchases?

No. Four Words is completely free and is supported by ads. There is nothing to buy, and the game never asks for payment details. Coins are earned by playing or by watching optional videos.

Is my progress saved?

Progress is saved on your device automatically. If you are signed in to Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android), progress can also sync across your devices.

How do I change the language or turn off sound?

Tap the gear icon on the top right to open Settings; sound, haptics and language options live there.

1. Close the game fully and reopen it
2. Check that you have the latest version installed
3. Restart your device
