Summary: Kelime Birleştir (Word Merge) does not ask you for personal information in order to play. We use trusted third-party services for analytics, advertising, crash reporting and optional cloud save. The only personal information we ever receive is what you choose to type into the in-app "Report a problem" form. You can play without creating any account, and the App contains no in-app purchases.

1. Overview

Kelime Birleştir (Word Merge, "the App") is a mobile word-association puzzle game developed by Erdem Giray. This privacy policy explains how we and our third-party partners handle information in our App.

The App is free and supported by advertising. It contains no in-app purchases and never asks you for payment details.

2. Information We Collect

The App never asks for your name, phone number or address, and it does not require an account. It collects an email address only in one case: if you use the in-app "Report a problem" form and choose to type your email so that we can reply to you. Everything else is collected automatically by the third-party services below:

3. Third-Party Services

Google Firebase (Analytics & Remote Config)

We use Firebase Analytics to understand how players use our App, and Firebase Remote Config to deliver game configuration updates.

Data collected:

App usage events (level starts, completions, hint usage)
Device information (model, OS version)
General location (country/region, not precise location)
App performance data

Google AdMob

We display banner and interstitial advertisements using Google AdMob. AdMob may collect data to show relevant ads. On iOS, ads are only personalized if you allow tracking when the system asks; where required, a consent message is shown before personalized ads are served.

Opt-out: You can limit ad tracking in your device settings:

iOS: Settings > Privacy > Tracking > disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track"

In-App Feedback Form (Web3Forms)

The App has a "Report a problem" form, reachable from Settings and from the end-of-level screen. It is entirely optional — nothing is sent unless you fill it in and tap send. We use Web3Forms to deliver your message to our support inbox; Web3Forms only relays the message on our behalf.

Data sent when you submit the form:

Your message (required in order to send the form)
Your email address — optional; provide it only if you would like a reply
Technical context to help us reproduce the issue: app version, language, and the level and on-screen words at the time

If your device is offline, the message is kept on your device and sent the next time the App starts. We use what you send only to answer you and to fix the problem.

Sentry

We use Sentry for crash reporting and error tracking to help us identify and fix bugs quickly.

Data collected:

Crash logs and error messages
Device information (model, OS version)
App state at time of crash

Cloud Save (Apple Game Center / Google Play Games)

If you are signed in to Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android), your game progress may be synced to your platform account so you can continue on another device. This data is stored by Apple or Google under their own policies; we do not operate our own servers.

4. Local Storage

The App stores the following data locally on your device:

Game progress (current level, coins, lives, remaining hints)
Settings preferences (sound, haptics, language)
A feedback message you have written but that has not been delivered yet, until it is sent

Apart from optional cloud save described above, this data stays on your device. You can delete it by uninstalling the App.

5. Permissions

The App requests minimal permissions:

Internet Access: Required for ads, analytics, remote configuration and cloud save
Vibration: For haptic feedback (can be disabled in settings)

6. Children's Privacy

The App is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The third-party services we use (Firebase, AdMob, Sentry, Web3Forms) have their own policies regarding children's data.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

7. Data Retention

Local data: Retained until you uninstall the App
Analytics data: Retained by Firebase according to their data retention policies (typically 14 months)
Crash data: Retained by Sentry for 90 days
Ad data: Managed by Google according to their privacy policy
Feedback messages: Kept in our support inbox for as long as needed to resolve your request. Write to us at the address below and we will delete your message and email address.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

Access: Request information about data collected
Deletion: We do not run our own servers and hold no player accounts, so there is very little for us to delete. What you can remove:
- Data on your device — uninstalling the App removes it.
- Cloud save — it lives in your own Game Center or Google Play Games account, and you can delete it there at any time.
- A feedback message you sent us — write to the address below and we will delete it, together with your email address.

9. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the data processed through our App. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. Our third-party partners maintain their own security practices.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will post the new policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
