Art Swap is a calm picture puzzle game. Every level is a single illustration cut into blocks and shuffled out of place. Swap two blocks to send them home, and when correct neighbours line up they merge into one larger block, so the board gets simpler as you work rather than harder. There is no timer, no lives and no way to lose.
Yes. Tap the lightbulb button in the top bar of the board. A hint is not a clue: it makes one correct move for you, right there on the board. The badge on it shows how many hints you have left. Every four puzzles you finish, the progress bar hands you three more, and a short optional video doubles that gift to six. When your stock is empty the badge reads "Ad", and watching a video gives you one hint.
No. There is no timer, no lives and no move limit. Put the phone down in the middle of a puzzle and pick it up a week later exactly where you left it.
One, and there will only ever be one: Remove Ads, a single payment that switches off the automatic ads for good. You can reach it from the badge in the top left of the home screen or from the Remove Ads row in Settings. Rewarded videos still work afterwards, because those are ones you choose to watch for something in return.
Open Settings and tap Restore Purchase. Use the same store account you bought it with. If the game tells you the store could not be reached, you are offline: try again once you have a connection, and nothing has been lost in the meantime.
Progress is saved on your device automatically. If you are signed in to Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android), progress can also sync across your devices, and it comes back by itself after a reinstall or on a new phone.
The first puzzles are inside the app and always play, online or not. The game quietly fetches the ones just ahead of you while you play, so most of the time the next puzzle is already there; if you get ahead of it, the picture is downloaded when you open the puzzle, which takes a second or two on a normal connection. If there is no connection the game says so rather than showing you a stand-in picture. A puzzle already on your phone plays without a connection. If your phone runs very low on storage the game may free the pictures of puzzles you finished long ago, and those are fetched again the next time you open them; the one you are on and the few ahead of it are never freed.
Tap the calendar button on the home screen. Today's puzzle is free. A day you missed can be replayed after a short optional video.
Yes. On the card that appears when a puzzle is complete, the buttons under the picture save it to your photo gallery or hand it to your phone's own share sheet. What is saved is the artwork itself, not a photograph of the screen.
Yes. Open Settings from the board and tap Skip Level. The game asks what the issue was first, and that answer is the most useful thing you can send us: it is how we find out which pictures are not worth keeping.
Tap the gear icon on the top right to open Settings. Sounds, music, vibrations, dark mode and the congratulations pop-up all live there.
